Melodix is a Groningen-based music and arts festival where acoustic and electronic music come together in one immersive experience. As a non-profit, we focus on what truly matters: the festival itself, not profit. In that way we create Melodix’s magical, organic old-school atmosphere.
By showcasing local talent from Groningen, we create a strong sense of community. Every euro that isn’t spent goes directly into building the next edition.
On our dancefloor there are no rules except to enjoy yourself. Music and energy come together, a space where you can feel free, be yourself, and get lost in it. All performances will be recorded and shared online, so there’s no need for phones, just be present.
Enjoy fresh smoothies, burrito bowls, and handmade pizzas, browse the vintage market for unique clothing, discover art from local creators, or enjoy a fun graffiti workshop in the afternoon where you can learn how to make your own art.
The festival takes place at a unique location hidden on the Suikerunie terrein, the Bamboo Lodge, where you can fully connect with music and nature, surrounded by an environment featuring peacocks, giant rabbits, and a relaxed, creative atmosphere.

Much of the band's music is shaped by live improvisation, making every performance a unique musical experience that can take any direction.
